Hello!

I'm Rebekah, a well-respected childcare success coach and I have specialised in supporting and developing the Out of School sector for the last 20 years. My roles have included Local Authority roles, practitioner roles and strategic lead roles, but I now do all of my work through my company The Bold Type Training & Consultancy Limited, as well as leading the Out of School Alliance; a membership and ‘one stop shop’ for support, advice and information for out of school providers in England.

I’m a playworker at heart and I’m always trying to bring this to my approach; I believe wholeheartedly that running a childcare business should actually be fun. As a childcare business expert and passionate advocate for playwork and school aged care, I’m proud to be leading Out of School Alliance forwards since 2021 and I’ve almost too many ideas to support members than I can count!

As a childcare success coach I work with childcare entrepreneurs who want to build bold, brilliant businesses and release their time, energy & money to deliver magical experiences for children.

The programmes I run bring together my 20 years in childcare development across all types of provider, performance psychology coaching & unparalleled knowledge of the childcare sector. My aim is to help you unlock the potential in your business & yourself, take back control & stop feeling like your business is running you!

I'm a specialist in children’s play & playwork, with an MA from the University of Gloucestershire’s prestigious Play & Playwork programme. Some of my work has been published including a chapter in Practice Based Research in Children’s Play & contributions to sector publications. I'm on the editorial board for The International Journal of Playwork Practice & regularly speak & deliver training across the UK.
